Lake June is a mid-sized reservoir situated in southeastern Dallas. Although surrounded by mostly residential and industrial development, the lake plays a key role in water retention and storm management.
There are limited recreational facilities, but local residents may use the area for informal fishing or walking. Its calm waters attract birds and provide a natural counterbalance to the urban grid. It’s also a reference point for the surrounding Lake June Road, a major east–west corridor in Dallas.
